Whitetail deer are vocal animals. They can produce a variety of sounds. Grunt tubes from Mountain Music Game Calls can mimic a range of deer sounds from fawn and doe bleats to the deep, guttural grunts of a tending buck.
I am a maker by hand of 18th Century rifles, pistols, and fowling pieces. I carry that genre through when creating my deer calls. The architectural profile of the "Impersonator" tm is inspired by the architecture of rifles barrels of this era and is a hallmark of Mountain Music Game Calls. Called a "Swamped" profile, the mouthpiece begins with a certain diameter, slims down from there to the waist, then swells back out again moving forward to the bell of the barrel, just like 18th Century rifle and cannon barrels. The architectural profile of these calls is a hallmark of Mountain Music Game Calls. I also engrave the mouthpiece by hand with my logo. A lanyard is included.
Each grunt call is hand-made by me. The tone board, located within the stopper, has five divisions/grooves. Moving the rubber o-ring to one of the dividers will allow the user to provide the most realistic impersonation possible of a whitetail deer.
Whether they will travel to the woods with you or are given as a gift, these calls are a must-have for any serious deer hunter!
